The largest ‘live’ pastry competition in Asia, the Asian Pastry Cup (APC) is the most spectacular and highly accredited competition in its category. It aims to promote pastry excellence and professionalism, and also serves as the official pre-selection platform for the World Pastry Cup 2019 in Lyon, France.
Producing excellent espresso-based drinks requires hours and hours of practice. With the aim to promote speciality coffee and coffee excellence in the region, the Barista Super Duo Challenge is set to gather top baristas from across the region.
The top three national teams who have attained the highest overall score at the National Team Challenge will move on to compete at the Battle for the Lion on 27 April 2018, Friday. Each team will prepare an appetiser, main course and dessert for 50 diners using the ingredients provided in a mystery basket. The winning team will take home the coveted Lion Trophy.
Watch as 6 talented pastry chefs, each supported by a designated commis, prepare a chocolate plated dessert and molded chocolate bonbons.
